ITINERARY

Day 1

Beachburg, Ontario. (Your choice of routes: 10-50km)

Welcome to Beachburg!  Right in the heart of Whitewater Region, Beachburg is home to quiet roads, beautiful farms and pristine lakes.  Visit quaint shops, a microbrewery and get spectacular views from a scenic look out.  Finish the day at a quiet B&B in our lovely village.

Day 2

Fort Coulonge, Quebec.(~62km)

The PPJ (Pontiac Pacific Junction) is a section of old rail bed converted to a beautiful trail system!  It is part of Quebec’s Route Verte and is well worth the visit. In the evening you will be greeted at Spruceholme Inn, the former home of one Fort Coulonge’s great lumber barons; this mansion has been meticulously restored to its original splendour and offers a beautiful glimpse into Quebec’s history. Your bags will be waiting for you upon arrival.

Day 3

Bristol/Norway Bay, Quebec. (~52km)

Today you will continue on the PPJ Route Verte  riding along the shores of the spectacular Ottawa River.  Take a break from riding at Coronation Hall, a micro-ciderie that makes both sweet & dry cider using apples from their own orchard.  Savour a piece of apple pie and enjoy a guided tour of the grounds before you continue along the river!  Enjoy the sunset and white sand beach of Norway Bay this evening.
